DRY OPTIMIST
Totally into the ocean – or dreaming of diving deeper – but prefer to stay dry while exploring its wonders? Join our Dry Optimist Journey and discover the fascinating world beneath the surface without getting wet.
Learn through engaging online courses, inspiring in-person workshops, and meaningful land-based actions during our Ocean Optimist activities. Expand your knowledge, connect with like-minded ocean lovers, and make a real impact – all while keeping your feet dry.
SNORKEL OPTIMIST
Yes! Let’s hit the water and become a Snorkel Optimist! In this journey you’ll learn all about the precious world beneath the surface and explore it yourself through engaging online courses, inspiring in-person workshops, and meaningful land-based actions during our Ocean Optimist activities ànd snorkel training. Start in the pool to build confidence and skills, then continue in your favorite environment: the open waters of Vinkeveen and Zeeland.
FREEDIVE OPTIMIST
Feeling one with the ocean and really free! Join our Freedive Optimist Journey and discover the fascinating world beneath on a single breath. Learn to move calmly and confidently underwater through professional freedive training. Of course, you complement your in-water skills with engaging online courses, inspiring in-person workshops, and meaningful land-based actions during our Ocean Optimist activities.
STARTER OPTIMIST
You consider yourself an ocean lover and ready to make your first dive? Join our Starter Optimist Journey and discover the fascinating underwater world! In this beginner course, you’ll learn the essential theory and practical skills needed to dive safely and independently. Starting in the pool then continue in open water. You’ll also join engaging online courses, inspiring in-person workshops, and meaningful land-based actions during our Ocean Optimist activities.
SPECIAL OPTIMIST
Grow as a diver and make a greater impact! Sign up for our Special Optimist package and take your diving to the next level. In these specialties, you’ll deepen your knowledge and master specific techniques – dry and wet. Build confidence through focused training in the pool when needed, then apply your new skills in open water. Engaging online courses, inspiring in-person workshops, and meaningful land-based actions during our Ocean Optimist activities will complete your journey.
RESCUE OPTIMIST
More confident, more aware! Sign Rescue Optimist form and take an important step in your diving hobby. You’ll strengthen problem-solving skills, self-confidence, and sense of responsibility, for yourself and your surrounding. Complement your in-water practice with engaging online learning, inspiring in-person workshops, and meaningful land-based actions during our Ocean Optimist activities. The calm, prepared and capable diver everyone wants as a buddy, that’s you!
PRO OPTIMIST
Hitting waves on a different level and ready to be a Professional with Purpose? You can join the Pro Optimist Journey in becoming a Divemaster, Asssistant-Instructor or Instructor as well!
Whether you’re looking to grow your skills or turn your passion into a career, this is your opportunity to make a real impact! Learn, explore and contribute to ocean conservation while developing as a dive professional. Our program combines purpose, education and adventure in one unique experience. You’ll be guided by experienced mentors every step of the way.
